Bio:Kathy Halliday-Otten has been a Redding Resident since 1980. She grew up on a “Mini-Farm” raising chickens, cows and a horse. This is where her love for finding solutions to everyday needs and developing a dedication and work ethic that has transcended to her decades of customer service. In 2004 Kathy found a perfect solution to helping folks gain financial independence through the HECM, Home Equity Conversion Mortgage, commonly known as the Reverse Mortgage. The experience she has gained over the years is by far her most respected skill in the reverse mortgage industry, along with her holding 36 state mortgage licenses. Kathy has trained hundreds of loan officers across the country and has successfully assisted people 62 or over, create a stable, sustainable, retirement through closing thousands of Reverse Mortgage loans in her career. Currently Kathy is dedicated and focused on talking to and educating people across the North State about how a reverse mortgage can enhance a person’s retirement or free up cash to ease some financial stressors. She is active in raising her 2 children together with her husband of 16 years. The whole family loves music, and as Kathy says “ At least once a week we all come together an play our instruments…we make a great little band!” She loves to stay healthy by riding her bike and learning everything she can about Nutrition.
